Yes that makes sense to me . My old accountant who has traded 3 stocks in his life bought 100k about 4 weeks ago after studying AMFE for 2 weeks , he reads our board but won't sign up or post yet, but I am working to change that.

Some firms buy on TA too... Some firms pay big money for people with proven TA techniques... I watched a video awhile back on black box trading (trading by software algorithms)... MMs use TA, and a lot of trades that control the market are from MMs... There is definitely a world of big league TA traders out there...

Sure, I wouldn't doubt some firms buy on fundamentals too, maybe even only fundamentals... Some firms won't buy pinks, it's all a flavor...
