Actually what you have here is an example of management righting the ship. Monthly distributions can be wonderful as you can depart in month #1 of a quarter if you choose, without suffering the indignity of no pay for your money's time.

AMZA instituted this change to more fairly balance distributions and AMZA's liability.

I no longer hold AMZA. The decision to liquidate had nothing to do with the MLP's ability to sustain the fine yield. Rather, I prefer to manage my portfolio comprised of individual stocks likely to outperform AMZA's yield.

Earlier on, I was feeling like the company was managing my money-- which it was! But I earned a 56.6% return for 2017 so AMZA's (then) yield of 21% was holding me down. I know others here are capable of out-performing as well.
