OT St1640 and Larry,

What a shock. Your Mom was a great person and I know she enjoyed reading all the posts here. She was a great supporter of me and how I managed this forum.

As the moderator of this thread may I express my sympathy over the loss of your MOM and our good friend ST1640.

Never met her but give her a kiss from me and tell her thanks for being aware of her investments.

Lot's of love from all of us.

OT Larry, ST1640,

I'm sure your Mom wasn't a demanding person and I'm also sure should would be pleased you stopped by and let her IDCC buddies know she passed.

I think what you did for Mom was great.

ST1640: I am so sad to hear of your Moms passing. I have PM'ing with her in the past about the "old days" out in the Oil Patch.

In one she said "My Dad, too, brought in many wells in the Permian, and his son, my brother, did as you and cleaned out many of the wells he drilled in the 30's and 40's."

It's always sad when we lose a love one and it is always sad when we lose one of our own who loved the "patch"

May God Bless You & Yours at this time.

Larry

Your mother was a great lady. She knew her sports and was an avid fan. She also kept up with the technical side of IDCC. I will miss her. I know that she and her entire family are in the prayers of many on this board. Although we are saddened by her passing, you must be very proud and honored to be her son. She touched the lives of many in a very positive way during her 80 years and I am sure she has a reserved seat in heaven.

May God bless you

OT: rtd: Hey, ol'friend--congrats on the Lady Cougs. As I once told you, unless they are meeting the U of A Cats, I'll be backing them 100%. A win for them will surely bring out the Maker's Mark for a well deserved toast. ST1640

OT: Larry, in case you missed my post. I, my family and my daughter Rachel are truly sorry for your loss. Your Mother was a wonderful person who had many young lady athlete friends as you know. You might not realize that these friends spanned the continent... at least to Texas for sure.

Loop, Arthtitis, and rookie since your listening... I don't know what to say. It's late... I gotta think about it.

Larry, I want to say that your mother was a wonderful friend and a great person... as you know. I've never met your mother Vivian... but she was a GREAT friend to many of us. She belongs in that special group of folks with rookie...

The Lady Wildkats have a special place in Heaven for your Mother, just as the UH Cougars have reserved a place for rookie.

My daughter Rachel is an athlete. Your mother has followed her since jr high, and has mailed special mementos and gifts and autogrphed stuff and other treasures to Rachel through the years. Your mother never met Rachel, but they are friends I guarantee it, and now Rachel is a sophomore at McNeese State on a softball scholarship taking 18 hours/semester toward a Math/Computer Sci major. Just like rookie, Viv left a very positive influence on many, many young people that you and your family may not even know.

The legacy and love that your Mother spread is beyond what you and your family know... just like rookie. What a wonderful and full life she led and legacy she left.

I, my family, and especially my daughter are priveleged to have known your mother... even if only by email and this message board.

Please email bulldzr@yahoo.com with any info or memorials or whatever... or call me ANY time at 936-523-1908 and we can talk... I am very sad at this news, but at the same time happy for the gret life she led...what a great gal! Really, please call me if there is anything we can do to help you at this time.

Jimlur... sorry for the OT.

OT--Larry, I am saddened to hear of the passing of your mother, Vivian. She was very astute at understanding her investment and a valued voice here. Vivian also showed great personal kindness and empathy to me and my family. She will be very much missed by all her friends on this board.

in God's peace,
Gary
