You know as well as anyone that these lawyers love to play word games. We could examine many examples over the past few years.

I think the strongest evidence supporting a theory that the resolution to the hold was something more significant than NWBIO agreeing to cease enrollment is the quote by Dr. Liau

“It is gratifying to have the hold removed from the Trial and exciting to see this Trial now moving towards completion, although of course the longer it takes for PFS and OS events to accrue, the better the patients in the Trial are doing

It makes more sense to me that Dr. Liau would find gratification in a resolution after a lengthy dialog that culminated in the FDA lifting the partial hold than from NWBIO simply deciding to forego the remaining enrollment. For that reason I have reconsidered my prior position on this.

I wouldn't put it past some of the folks involved to play word games, but I would be sorely disappointed and very surprised if Dr. Liau was participating in such shenanigans.
