NXKK, this was discussed at the ASM, listen to the ASM Q&A (link below) start about 1hr 30 mins and listen for about 7 mins, the plan is to grow organically into the senior exchange such as NASDAQ, there is no reason this can't happen in 2018 as the now fully packaged device is being characterized and then will be sent out for sampling leading to commercial sales in 2018

There are a handful of ways to enter that exchange and currently Lightwave does not qualify for any of them. When asked by a shareholder last year about when the move will happen, Marcelli stated that he wanted it to happen organically (naturally) and not be some contrived reversed spit mumbo jumbo move. Honestly I do not think we as Lightwave Logic will see that exchange because remember Lebby’s words “Recall that our objective here is to attract an industry partner with the synergistic capabilities necessary to help develop future products that will utilize form factors that would be virtually impossible to achieve with existing legacy technology.” In other words Lightwaves Polymer Material is Small enough and Flexible enough to fit into devices that are not possible with today’s materials. They have a problem and it certainly appears that Lightwave has a solution.

I (X) believe that our chance of surviving the process of bringing on a partner will result in the partner deciding to buy the company outright and have 100% control of the business and the devices that it can support. Don’t get me wrong it may not be the first partnership or device that will trigger the technology grab but it will happen in short order. This modulator (Hundreds of Millions) market is peanuts in the scope of what it appears that Lightwaves Patented Polymer Materials can support.

Oh these guys are focused, focused, focused on the Materials and Devices, at this time it does not appear that they are super worried about doing things specifically to attract investors. They are of the opinion that once demonstrated the investors will come to them. Many don't like that and would like to see them do releases and programs to force this up but it is what it is. Honestly I've never developed and created a next generation device or material so I can not say what it the correct angle.
