It is my impression that the "DNA/GUT/other" data was developed under Ariana and will be in the trial planning. It is possible that a P2b would be confirmatory for this, sliding into an adaptive P3, but that is just personal speculation.

No way to know without more data, and we will get it at some point.

I do think this is the most likely, straightforward and as you say probably in fact a positive explanation for why things are taking a little longer.
