Re Internet Explorer version - Open the IE browser then click the gear icon on the top right, then click About Internet Explorer.


I have been using Opera browser for about 10 months...I have IE, Firefox and Chrome too.
Have used Maxthon but ran into some problems like the one you describe.
Continually trying different browsers can be a pain but can help - if one doesn't work for certain pages, try another...
