There is no evidence that it was "moved to the EU".... IMO Parkinson's was planned for the EU all along.

I believe you're chasing wrong assumptions. It is clear to me that Missling is pursuing path of least resistance (i.e. better pathway forward) with regard to PD trials...and perhaps where the best funding resides. We'll know soon enough.

With regard to Alz, it appears that Missling is having to "fit" within construct of the FDA... and that is the newly formed ACTC, as well, where the best pathway and funding resides.

Seems rather obvious to me.

RE:

the FDA didnt like the idea of two and elected to go with one

I don't understand this logic......what difference does it make to the FDA that Anavex runs one, two, or three trials parallel to each other??? They are not paying for it. That would be like me saying to Air-Attack while fighting fires: "The fire is moving fast and has the potential to be devastating....give me one air-tanker, not the tree you have sitting on the tarmac". Maybe my comparison may not match exactly, but with the emphasis on the 21st Century Cures Act I may not be that far off.

You dont think its because Dr. Francardo (who has run all the2-73 pre-clinicals for PD @ Lund) is from the EU/Sweden?
