Encourage your wife to plant garlic.

Say that you have a garlic bulb with 6 cloves. At the end of a successful season, you will have 6 bulbs from the original bulb.

I told that to two guys and I gave them the seed garlic. All has been planted. They are anxious to see how it grows. I told them to harvest the garlic, keep the largest for replanting and eat or gift the rest.
