But from a factual perspective, Trump lies MUCH more than any of the others.
I don't really think that is true. I think he does not know the "Political Speak" as well as other presidents before him. Thus, his lies are more obvious, making it seem that he lies more often. He lacks the humor, glibness or friendly manner that made it possible for other Master Liars to seem more honest to us.
The only other president I can compare Trump's manner to is Nixon and we all know how that turned out.
The rest of them, no matter how serious a lie they got caught up in, seemed to feel less wrath by the public. Even Clinton, after being impeached, was treated with a greater degree of pity than wrath. Just my personal opinion though.
