But they have not had any press and the newspapers would be writing about it, for sure... The new PR consultant has likely already called the local papers and is planning a date to do a detailed story, just like they did for the previous 2 locations. Go look up some of the older press. There were interviews with Ben, Steve, etc

A PR consultant is a PRO at doing this stuff, they have a plan. Trust me.

Like 50+ new employees need to be acclimated to location #3. This is a significant operation that depends on quality service and good reviews! They aren't goin to hype it on day 1 and slam these noobs. LOL

This is COMMON procedure for a place of this scale and they are doing it the way it needs to be done.

Both of my grand openings for my businesses came three weeks after we opened the doors,,,,some of the other businesses in the area came at six to eight weeks after actual opening,,,,...Neither one of my business actual day of opening actually happened when I first projected it to happen,and,,,I just retired by selling them both after 30 years of success and they are still doing good,,,,just saying ,,,something not actually happening when you project it to happen,[as long as it does happen],,,does not doom and gloom a company

Yes there shall be a grand opening.

It is the time when you get the media out there, the local politician out there, and all the hoopla. It is not the day your doors first open. It's more of a social event. It shall happen.

either this weekend IF they can get it put together (Lots of moving parts for it to be done right) or after the 1st if they can't get the parts together this close to the holidays.

I've seen a "grand opening" happen as far as 8 weeks after the doors opened. At a Chick FilA where I knew the owner.

Speaking from over seven years of professional experience with grand opening projects, a grand opening is not the same as the doors opening for business. Most businesses open their doors to get ready for the grand opening and to start generating a little money. I am sure they are figuring out that certain things about their set up needs some tweaking, all things that will happen before it is announced to the media that Snakes has joined the local community. It is a no brainer that there will be a grand opening. That, and the fact that there was a PR that clearly stated there was going to be a media blitz. GO AMFE.

Roger already mentioned VIP day is still on for after the holidays... My guess is, grand opening might occur at the same time or something...

I was told this is a 'soft opening' by an emplkhee a couple of days ago when I asked if they were serving breakfast - he said they didn't have the full menu up as of yet as it was still basically a soft opening....

I hate being right! Looking back, I see so many posts from myself and others about how many of the things that #AMFE has mentioned along the way never happened or WILL never happen...this little gem is now almost SIX months old. :-(
