Why can't demand simply be investors who believe the tweets?
Why can't demand simply be speculators who are looking to flip a tick?

Good point.. I didn't really look at it that way.

I personally don't believe that's the case but yes, it is possible. If I am just looking to flip a tick, why wait in line behind all of the other orders when there are so many other stocks with less demand available. This many bidders for two days in a row has to be (no way to know for sure) more than just flippers. Its not THAT nice a stock.

Thanks for your input too. Contrary to popular belief, opposing views are often needed just to keep everyone honest. I welcome them.

if you have been following the stock since before the run you can tell what is really out there. This was a stock that had zero bid and now has 1.5 bill bid. Thats enough to know what the real short interest is.
Do you really think Debt Holders are buying?
Do you really think MM's are bidding for themselves?
There are two reasons for the big bid.
1. Shorts needing to cover
2. Buyers looking to get back in - After the sell off and being in penny land and all this drama about major dilution do you really think people would be buying the stock again without a catalyst? Most people are scared shitless about being bamboozled again.

So I fall back to reason 1 Retail shorts need to cover.

I like your thesis here. I think 1’s are a buy for a trade, but time has proven again and again that pops will be sold until the CEO gets a hold of his debt problem that he seems quite comfortable persisting.
