Don't forget Alphabay and Hansa this year

I wonder, though who has jurisdiction on these seizures. They are usually offshore and Hansa itself was operated by the Dutch government for almost a full month as a honeypot.

Dutch police said they'd seized more than 1,000 bitcoins, worth around $2.6 million had been seized during the Hansa operation. Investigators were able to take control of the site after arrests of the alleged administrators of the market in Germany, aged 30 and 31.

Agents discovered the site was hosted in Lithuania. They were seized and an exact copy of Hansa transferred to Dutch servers. Visitors would have had no idea the police were running the site from late June.
