Paullee, I would love to have Gorsuch write the opinion if Oil States wins at SCOTUS. That should reign in the PTAB and those infringers that run there to get patents invalidated.

I also hope they address the issue of forum jumping from a Fed Ct to the PTAB when the court case is filed first. And the issue of timely filing of a patent challenge from the issue date. Ten years later when they get sued they want to challenge.

I think an issued patent should have to be challenged within 6 months to 1 year of the issuance date. After that the patent is valid for its life against any and all reasons.
