Im by no means an insider on the music industry, but a very good friend of mine is and he has told me many stories about "record Labels" and how incredibly costly they are to emerging artists and even to established artists. Probably most people think when an artist gets a "label" that they have hit the big time and nothing but money follows, and this could not be further from the truth. Most times the emerging artist is hit with huge bills from the Record company, many tens of thousands of dollars to get their music "out there". Bottom line is I think Steve is really onto something if he can get other Artists on board. If we begin to see other artists, this could go well beyond anyones expectations here and this is just one facet of the many tentacles this may have. You can bet your bottom dollar I am long.
