I dunno. But I own some Aphria and it is up 18% today. I really think that any Canadian Cannabis company could be either a target or acquirer right now. There is a major push for market share in this space and they are all fighting to be a dominant player. Aurora has about a $500M war chest, and if they apply that capital with discipline - they could end-up being one of two or three major players in the Canadian Cannabis Industry. Canopy Growth is another player to watch.
That said, in America we have Budweiser, Miller, and Coors. But their are also thousands of Craft Breweries just waiting to get enough local market share to be acquired by the big breweries. Goose Island Beer (a local favorite in Chicago) was bought-out and I had a Goose Island 312 when I was in Amsterdam a couple of months ago. So their is an advantage of global marketing and distribution that only a big mutli-national can provide.
