My biggest concern was that all financial avenues would completely dry up, and they would suddenly announce bankruptcy. Which, of course is the desired outcome of the shorts. So this sizeable financing alleviates that concern at least for a period. Nobody likes the repeated dilutions, but they don't have any choice.
As for data readout and regulatory submission. It has to be done in a way that offers best chance of success. And that might involve using the RMAT pathway, which probably offers the best chance of gaining conditional approval at the earliest time.
