Hmmm. The lawsuit doesn't concern me as much as his appointment as president and CEO of a mining company. I just wrote an email (below) to Abattis to inquire about it .They have a good track record of getting back to me fairly quickly. I will post their reply when I get it.

"As an investor I am concerned about the following two news items:

https://www.juniorminingnetwork.com/junior-miner-news/press-releases/1520-tsx-venture/mfm/38162-marifil-mines-appoints-robert-abenante-as-president-and-ceo.html

Please explain how Mr. Abenante, CEO of Abattis Bioceuticals , will have enough time to run two companies and fight a law suit.

Thank-you"

I actually missed this lawsuit, and I'm surprised.. this was reported back in September 2017.

Yes, of course it's concerning, because another company essentially accused him of slacking off, getting paid to do nothing, and then using their coffers as his own personal piggy bank. Is it believable? I don't know. Other than the symbol, BLXX, I'm not very familiar with Blox, Inc.

Regarding the lawsuit.. interesting, but I'm not convinced they have a strong case. It sounds as if Blox, Inc. is essentially suing him for over promising and under delivering.. or outright failing to achieve anything they had hoped. "We felt you didn't do anything and we don't like that you failed" isn't going to amount to much in a court of law though. Then there's this:

The suit claims that Mr. Abenante made several unsubstantiated transactions with company money. Among other things, he paid his personal credit card and made payments to a private entity he controlled, Blox says.

So they're alleging embezzlement, by the sound of it?

There's a lengthy discussion about Abenante and Bridgemark activities on the Canadian investment forum ceo.ca. There's something like 20 different companies where all those different characters (Abenante, Paddock, etc.) are involved and it ain't pretty.
