Don't let yourself get tied up into the PSA thing. This is why Abbott is spending Millions of dollars on Biocurex!

Everyone including the doctors know that an elevated PSA means SQUAT!

In fact if ELEVATED PSA meant anything, the doctors would be doing biopsies on half of the Women in the world to see if they have prostate Cancer...

Originally it was thought that PSA was only produced by the cells of the prostate gland (a male sex hormone gland). However, it has been shown that PSA is also expressed in many female tissues, particularly breast tissues (in both normal and abnormal breast) and in various breast milk, nipple aspirate, and cyst fluid. Pregnant women have elevated serum PSA. High levels of PSA are found in amniotic fluid and the levels change with gestational age. In healthy women serum PSA levels vary during menstrual cycles and are higher in women with excess androgen. Elevated PSA levels are seen in some breast and gynecologic cancers and this may have clinical significance.
