Here's a plug for IPTK's low power system for in flight connectivity and entertainment which works off a data cable to the aircraft's pre-existing satellite communications system.

"A Qatar Airways Airbus a321-200 In-flight Entertainment (IFE) Satellite Antenna caught fire during maintenance. Aircraft whilst parked at a remote stand at Doha Hamad International Airport. Source said " the Inflight Entertainment Satellite Antenna reportedly caught fire".
