#8740 RE: Spideyboy #8738

Thanks for the reply Spidey. I had asked that question before and never got an answer, and couldn't find one myself. Helps in knowing what's coming out of Zami's mouth.

Spideyboy, thanks for reintroducing a level of seriousness
to the "debate" on this board (I wish I had your self-control!).

I pretty much agree with everything you said (and also saud). I just
want to add that to the extent that the past is a guide to the future
(as you said), the one new factor (and it's a very significant one),
is the evolving regulatory environment, in addition to the development
of stem cell technologies (by leaps and bounds) and the anticipation
of therapeutic approaches to defeat diseases that are devastating
and massively expensive.

The FDA under Dr.Gottlieb is an altogether different beast, one
that will expedite moving good drugs thru the system, to benefit
patients, rather than an exercise in bureaucratic power games.

In addition, specific to PSTI, the recent recognition of the special
urgency in getting what the military needs in a hurry, bodes well
for the company. My expectation is:

1. The value of both PAD/R18 will be proven in the clinic
2. The need is sufficiently great (for both military and civilian
use) that the approval process will be faster than in the past.

If both 1 and 2 turn out to be correct, than I cannot see anything
less that an explosive upside from where we are now. To repeat
the cliche, we are looking at a fundamental paradigm change,
and PSTI is in the forefront of that effort.
