Overall it's a win win even for big Pharma as regular testing increases sales
Let's not forget potential lost patient visits, attenuation of Diabetic medicine per Big Pharma. Big Pharma wants to stay in control and physician offices want the regular office appts..and so does the average patient that necessitates one on one interaction. As for socialized medicine, you may have a point, However show me an example of other interventions that are proving your point. If not, this is a crap shoot for ANY type of adoption.
