Could be that they see something in the molecules that may pair with some lab study. They are taking a low ball chance in my opinion.

Seems to me BIIB is only interested in drugs that treat disease symptoms not drugs that target causes of diseases. Anavex doesn’t fit into their $business$ strategy. I believe Anavex is a company whose strategy truly puts patients before profits.
