Howdy....if you never had Parsnips...you have missed out...just peel a few...cut them in about 1 inch chunks...put a little canola oil on them...just enough to coat them...cover the dish in foil...bake for 30 minutes at 350.....remove the foil...add a few tablespoons of 100% Maple Syrup....none of that imitation crap...shake them to coat...and bake another 30 minutes without the foil....Mmmmmm good

LOL I don't miss not feeling comatose at all...it was a Fab dinner

Busy day today...after Church we picked up the flowering tree we will plant in front of the front porch in memory of Mom...A Mexican Plum Tree...that was we have flowers in the spring followed by fruit until mid summer...we will put her ashes in the hole before planting...met a friend for burgers at one of those fancy dancy burger places...and in a few minutes will go next door...they invited us over for beer so they could meet and welcome Dianna to the hood...she is from Holland so they understand the VISA process...LOL
