Seriously, Huff shut up and did what he thought was best for the company after every counter attack to his statements was successful.
I suspect putting Jones forward was the best move of all, since his past is impeccable as is the facility in which he's working.
I've seen a few slightly slanted attempts to stain him and basically his reputation and offhanded dismissal of failure (that laugh) have had a positive impact.
Personnally, I can't wait to see what happens next in this drama.
