1. Take good notes or even a recording provided they are also making recordings.

Why the proviso. I assume that you may record any meeting you are a legitimate party to. So if you are an investor with a right to be at the meeting you also have the inherent right to record it as well, without anyone's permission. (Telephone calls will vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction even if you are a party to the call). I hope I have this right.
