Gaps don't always fill. I think it's safe to say they often do not. Technical analysis is right until it's not.

We saw what happened to the morning star doji or whatever the hell it was.

Fundamentals fundamentals fundamentals!

That said, I've played chart patterns myself on short term trades, there's something there but fundamentals trumps all that stuff.

Stocks are primarily event driven.

In previous posts Perceval77 I have mentioned that the Gap happenings can be Debated. In this case in particular there is much PRE AND AFTER MARKET Trading that is filling in those Gaps but it will not show up on the charts. So my answer would be---"Go by anything that works for you". Below is the chart that gives you the Short Interst as of October 3i, the %age of the Float and the total amount of SI which is 33,280,000. GL2U&A. Tlsmd
