they weren't open. I don't think the CRCW has ever really stated plans for RMRK. Acquiring it is what they seemed to want to do but don't seem to be in a hurry.
Paying off RMRK's debt is good, but you don't acquire a company by paying off debt. They would need a controlling interest of shares. Now maybe there are super-voting preferreds on the books to allow this. Otherwise it would take either open market purchases or a tender type offer I guess to we RMRK holders?
