Agree all the way---although with a partial exception for those who get off on finding excitement and windfall wealth while perched on the end of their proverbial chairs:
There will be situations where the avid investor will spot a pick and jump on it mercilessly, somehow "knowing" or at least thinkin so---that the stock is about to take off for the moon. ALDW has been the barn-burner of late and may continue to be so for just a little while longer. NGL is the prize gem soon to move onto center stage, I believe. Both are energy MLPs.
EPD is about as good as could be for people wanting to lock in on stability albeit with modest growth potential yet a ROI exceeding C-corp fare. But I'll bet you, yourself, are open to limited riskier plays, too.
However, I can't deny that there's a wonderful sense of safety here and I see myself adding and not playing with EPD.
