You could be the only MVTG semi officer in the office at this time but check the MVTG patents for patent violations by the Germans on co2 conversion into methane and other fuels!

MVTG could get the patents back and then some money from the Germans.

This could be BS also but worth a look.

Then MVTG would need money to see if there are valid patent violations and then take the Germans to court in Germany or the USA. Could cost money once the patents are back in validity.

Do you think the Germans acted to have the MVTG patents go sour?
