Well, let's put it into perspective, the CEO believes that SFOR is a multi billion dollar company, so, I imagine that he wants a lot of money for the illegal use of his patents. However, it could be like Microsoft and a small sum but with the stipulation of paying out royalties in the future. Guess Monday will clarify what will happen. The importance of this settlement is that it gives power to SFOR to go after more infringers.

My opinion might not be popular (and I don't care who wants to disagree), but I don't think the "monetary award" is going to be as large as many expect because both SFOR and Entrust were really going after each other (I know folks...Entrust was dismissed prior), but this could be much more valuable for setting up future wins against other infringers. I look at this as a "win" by getting a much larger giant (Entrust) off SFOR's back in our legal system. Ultimately, I hope it is HUGE (monetarily), and ALSO helps SFOR to reduce the amount of time litigating against other infringers.

Better be really large like 17 years infringement (or age of entrust) and the % of product that uses oob mfa plus residuals and royalties ad finem....

Better be alot... better be crippling and only possible to continue cause u are agreeing to royalties... that's what it should be

The bigger question is how much more will Strikeforce be worth after the 7 first 7 are settled? There are many more infringers that they will be pursuing . speculative valuation of the company should increase tremendously..Mark Kay maybe in a position to sell the company at the price he wants... before all is said and done.
