I just recently found that site and it is decidedly negative toward the entire optical fiber industry. Considering the staggering levels of short interest prominent across mostly everyone in this industry it wouldn't surprise me if this site isn't being used as a mouthpiece for the shorts. They haven't been wrong about their short bets though and i find the disconnect between the author and companies claims of success at 400GB rather intriguing, especially the problems with heat. The short thesis shouting from the rooftops is "commodity Product", margins will get crushed. Most of the companies in this space are trading at less than 10x forward PE and growing alot faster than that so the valuations are cheap. Someone on Seeking Alpha said to look at Arista.. they seem to have a rather broad product offering and apparently seem to be kicking some CSCO and JNPR behind and have a valuation that seems rather rich for vendors in this space (maybe it's deserved). Long story short some seem to think they may be bundling all of their components together (1 stop shop) and under-cutting stand alone transceiver and module companies. Interesting to watch and i think once proven LWLG solution will obliterate the competition from a pricing/scalability perspective
