I think your cautious optimism is wise indeed! And it's great to go throughout your life with this method of operation imho. I know you're not pessimistic on Amfil overall but were just giving your take on "this week's trading". And in the stock market all we can do is go with a gut feeling week to week, but that's where it's great to be a true long term investor, because the day to day and week to week are all but meaningless to the "big picture" as you mentioned.
