Odd but I guess that makes sense that the 10k would come out in December or January

The 10K is officially due on December 31, 2017. Since December 31 is a Sunday and January 1s is a holiday. It will then be posted on January 2nd.

That is why I mentioned in an earlier post that the 10K is due on January 2nd. The good thing with this off cycle though is that Q1 is due on February 14. So, we will get two filings with a little over a month apart.
