He better slow down his selling, or he'll be eating at the local food pantry! But, a fat role of cash is much more enticing to a playa than a fat role of stock certificates!
RMD is probably done paying Roc. That's how Record Labels work. They'll make an initial investment, but only pay the artist pennies on each album sold. It's a "scratch eachother's back" arrangement after that. He's got to get some concerts going to make some $$$, and for RMD to sell albums.
Regardless, it is feasible for RMD to say they'll make $10 per album. (to answer someone's earlier question, can't remember who).
