There are two pipelines that pass just east of the Nixon unit - one is an old Koch gathering line, formerly part of the Luling to Three Rivers crude gathering network. It was an 8" line, abandoned by Koch, and sold to H&W Salvage.
The second nearby pipeline is also a Koch property - the 8" Rosanky-Nixon leg of Koch's crude transmission network. It is still in service.
