Mr. Siraj Nour El-Ahmadi is sitting on our board.
Siraj Nour El-Ahmadi is co-founder, CEO and President of Menara Networks. He has over 20 years of experience in telecom industry with a strong emphasis on optical and packet transport technologies. Prior to co-founding Menara Networks, Siraj served as the Vice President of Product Line Management for the LH 4000, Ultra-Long Haul DWDM system at Nortel Networks. Prior to that, Siraj was a key contributor and Vice President of Product Management & Marketing at Qtera, and served as a Director of Network Architecture and Planning at BNR/Nortel Networks. Siraj is an inventor with 17 patents, issued or pending, in the area of optical communications. He holds a BS and MSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and is the author of a number of publications. He is a frequent speaker at telecom conferences and currently serves on the Advisory Board of the University of Texas-Dallas Erik Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science.
