Yes very true. I have been involved in many OTC stocks as investor and unfortunately or fortunately depending on his ya looked at it I was exposed to a company that did everything by the book. They were very transparent with shareholders, released filings on time and held quarterly conference calls like clock work. No other company on the OTC has been able to compare. So that company spoiled me. I look at companies and view many of them as investment opportunities when most of them are trading opportunities at best or some are just trash built on lies from the start. Its up to the individual to make decision about the stock. Someone a long time ago. Dont marry a stock. Make money from a stock.
