Because there are some people that want cheap shares and are able to manipulate scarey cats that don't have the balls to hold for real money.

Because thats what all equities do.

IE: GE is down 32%+/- inthe last two months. Warren Buffett owns billions of dollars of GE. I'm sure he's not happy, but he will say it's expected.

Just the way it is.
