The one thing that is interesting is that no one mentioned reality is as much a wake up call, as it is a an introduction to the truth. I thought the line between credibility and intent was very thin.It isn't!People formed opinions with 1/2 the info on Tim. I've stated that while tim is a capable hands on leader in tech and marketing of futuristic voice data products., his fubar on the russian deal was an outcome he certainly didn't want and the AMEX delisting issues, well he didn't want that either.So,now what?
My gut is that this company has opinions by others as well. People who see the company as a staircase to better Homeland protection,and better warfare communications for our troops. Certainly Huff didn't force the top brass of the AF to work with GTE.
65 plus people whos job it is to build GTE is being played out real time.All of them will lose if GTE loses.If enlightenment comes to the members of the Amex it will be because Huff showed his intent, and because he was credible. will support its claims.I'll bet the AMEX forgives the mistakes/failures of GTE (if thats what they were).I'll also bet that they learn a lesson on rushing to judgement as well.Its not over and thw 28th is not a formality.
