Scott Boras calls out Yankees over Jacoby Ellsbury’s postseason

Jacoby Ellsbury’s lack of playing time during the postseason certainly didn’t go unnoticed by Scott Boras.

“I do know this, Jacoby is a player you want to be out there in the postseason,’’ Ellsbury’s agent told The Post on Monday, two days after the Yankees lost Game 7 of the ALCS to the Astros in Houston.

Boras pointed to the 34-year-old Ellsbury’s postseason performances and that the left-handed hitting outfielder helped the Red Sox win World Series titles in 2007 and 2013.

“He is a very effective postseason player,’’ Boras said of Ellsbury, who started this year’s postseason with a .299 average and a .768 OPS in 39 October games.
