If LQMT starts receiving a lot of revenue the other option that is available is to reduce the number of shares by buying them back.



Technically true. However, once LQMT starts receiving a lot of revenue the share price will sky rocket. At that time, it will cost a lot of money to appreciably reduce the number of issued shares.
