In Silicon Valley, there is a lot of nodding and winking between the largest companies. Having said that, there are also situations like Qualcomm and Apple where it is "to the death".

The patent system/PTAB/IPR is designed to favor infringers, especially big ones, who can launch challenges, (even from entities without standing) that can tie up patent holders for years, even if they are with little merit.

This is, in large part, why working your ass off to get patents is just the beginning if a very "long game"....

Hats off to Voip Pal for being tenacious. This is a tough battle.

Well you said it not me. I never mentioned anything about companies sticking together. I said if they win the trial, maybe someone will step to the plate and take it from here, aka acquire the company.

I seriously doubt companies will all agree not to purchase VPLM. Ridiculous at best!!
