I'm actually opening an antique store right now. Of course the land lord left me the place dirty and in need of repair. But its very affordable so its a trade off. But I was supposed to be open 3 months ago. I totally understand the renovation process. Never sure what you will run into in an older building or even new ones these days.
Not trying to make a living off of it yet but It would be nice to cover expenses and make an actual profit. That's where Ebay comes in. Lol. So as much as I hate spending money on electric and taxes and licenses and Insurance, paint etc. etc. its all about the end game. Very easy to lose focus and get overwhelmed thinking of big picture. But Ive learned if you just worry about what needs to be done that day it all works out and much less stressful. Can only imagine what goes through a CEOs head on a daily basis. I have no idea how they do it.
