Guess I'm not being clear here. You're correct, but blockchain is practically the only way to trace bitcoin, but promoters instead of saying it's a bitcoin currency company or baseball sock company merging into a bitcoin exchange company, they use the blockchain technology slogans now.
They're trying to stay away from the word bitcoin itself, even though that's totally what it is that the company is getting involved in. Even some of them have gone as far to say they will do their own mining of the digital currency.
The tobacco companies have been dancing around the word 'cancer' for 60 years.
