So, on the volume piece...

As of this moment, GDX traded 19.4 million shares on the day. So barring any large AH's trades that increase that number...this is the lowest volume day of the year in GDX.

Inside day, trading sideways in a tight range exactly between the rising 50 & 200 SMA's on the daily...on super low volume. Also walking price perfectly down a declining EMA 8 on the hourly for all 3 days this week. Hmmmm....????
