Not a lie but a misrepresentation. Why did he clarify which shareholders by saying "long-term", rather than simply shareholders in general? He could easily be referring to the largest shareholders, who were, in fact, long-term shareholders.
I ask again, why would a hedge fund show any altruism by making all of us small investors whole?
