The best way is to research how to use about:config on your own to optimize firefox. Try not to download some websites fixes that are programs they ask you to download and run. Many times these sites are not legit. And make note of what you are changing so you can change things back if need be. I have done the pipelineing and such very successfully. I just updated firefox and will have to go back at it myself soon.
