Correct....today. Quell did not spend many millions and years developing its $250 + $39 every month or get FDA OTCclearance as a medical device. A Tens unit is one of hundreds on the market globally, BIEL just needs general clearance and traction and it will displace Tens units. Also with Tens there are disposables making them money monthly pads at $39 and don't forget replacing the connecting gel for most of them - biggest issues - they help pain in differing degrees only and actually stimulate healing processes. Amazing device - order one, not the trial 7 day one, the 720 hour device and use it for 2 weeks - or give it to a relative or friend.
