If a company offers you a pay out on a settlement or a mortgage, it is your job to learn about the deal or get legal advice to help you.
You are responsible to do your DD on a mortgage just like you do DD on buying a stock.
This company looks like an interesting play. I've been watching it for a few weeks now after getting the heads up from J.K. There was a handful of legal problems and I'm still looking for the dispositions on those cases.
